We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to make a donation, subscribe you to a newsletter, or respond to a question.
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
When you make a donation for fund a project, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. As we use the PayPal service to process donations, all payment information is collected and managed by PayPal; we do not have access to your credit card or other payment information.
When you browse our site, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
SECTION 2 – CONSENT
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, make a donation, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
From time-to-time our site requests information via surveys or contests. SECTION 4 – PayPal
Our donation center is hosted and provided using a secure account on PayPal. PayPal provides us with the online platform that allows us to accept and track donations. PayPal adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
